Good news for entrepreneurs looking to invest in charging infrastructure: the Private Charging Infrastructure at Businesses (SPRILA) subsidy scheme has been extended. From March 2025, charging stations with an integrated battery will also be eligible for subsidy. [Source: rvo.nl]
What does the change entail?
Previously, charging stations with an internal battery were excluded from the subsidy scheme. With the recent modification, entrepreneurs can now also receive financial support for these ‘all-in-one’ charging solutions.
What are the advantages of charging stations with an internal battery?
- Cost savings: The use of battery-integrated chargers eliminates the need for heavy cables and a transformer station.
- Rapid roll-out: No more long waiting list for a wholesale connection. The power connection required is five times smaller than for a normal charging station!
-Self-generating: Link the charging station to your solar panels and make maximum use of your own power.
- Can be used anywhere: The battery-integrated charging station is an ‘all-in-one’ system and can therefore be placed anywhere and installed within a day.
